QIC Trims has boosted its customer service offering with the appointment of a new Sales Office Manager whose product knowledge and interpersonal skills will prove invaluable to the company’s continued growth.
Keith Lavine joins the UK’s leading interior building products manufacturer following a long and successful stint as South East Business Development Manager at SIG. Prior to that position, Keith enjoyed an equally fulfilling spell as Sales Manager at building products distributor, CCF.
Brimming with enthusiasm and more than three decades of experience in building product sales, Keith leapt at the offer of a new challenge at QIC.
He said: “After spending 30 years in the distribution side of the industry, I’m delighted to have the opportunity to switch to the manufacturing aspect of sales. To assist in the growth of a company with an ethos as great as QIC is an absolute thrill.”
Keith will be based at QIC’s Buckingham HQ where he will inherit a sales team renowned for its outstanding customer service and expertise across QIC’s wide-ranging, industry-leading product streams. “It’s my remit to help develop our vibrant sales office,” he said. “The staff are amazing and have been fantastically welcoming. This diverse, exciting role comes with many new challenges for myself, and I can’t wait for the challenge ahead.”
QIC Trims is a leading supplier of next generation aluminium trims that support a range of interior applications. From workplace to education and throughout the health, retail and public sectors, the company works in conjunction with architects and fit-out contractors to deliver projects which take ceiling design to unparalleled levels.
Neil Miller, Sales Director at QIC, said Keiths’ attributes were ideal to foster profitable relationships with new and established customers. Neil and Keith worked together at an independent interiors’ distributor in the 1990s, hence there was an obvious candidate for the vacant Sales Office Manager role at QIC.
“I’ve always admired Keith’s ability on product knowledge, customer service and most importantly customer relationships, “Neil said. “Customers love dealing with Keith. He’d spoken with various companies and manufacturers in our industry and sector, but recognised that we are leaders in our sector and bought into the long-term vision and goals we have for QIC. It’s a great appointment.”
